Conger: I remember a visit to the Mazer Collection, and I remember this box that was sitting on a shelf. And it was marked “Elizabeth Gould Davis,” the author of The First Sex. That book was so important to the feminist movement. It’s just amazing. So Elizabeth Gould Davis donated her second manuscript, which has never been published, and that’s what was in that box. I’m still dying to read it. I haven’t had a chance because I haven’t been down in Los Angeles long enough to go several days to the library [laughs]–to the Mazer Collection. But that’s something that is priceless. But, it would be–wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could get it published? Huh? What do you think? I hope so!
