The files contain "The Fat Underground" (A Fat Liberation Collective) 1974 literature, activism, and sample letters to doctors/pyschiatrists; a manuscript of her presumably unpublished epistolary novel, "Malka Windsinger;" transcript of a talk given by Judy to health professionals about the experience of being a fat patient; fliers for her performance art; "Portrait of a Chain-Link Fence with Barbed Wire" a word collage of Judy's writing 1982. The files also contain: materials from "The Radical Feminist Therapy Collective;" publications on avoiding rape from the 1970's; fliers for a Fat Lesbian photography show and for Jewish creative writing events; various publications and clippings of Freespirit's creative and political writing. The audiotapes are taped readings by Judy Freespirit of her novel about incest, Jewish identity, and fat lesbian sexuality, titled, "Keeping It In the Family." They also contain autobiographical interviews from 1981-82.
